Injustice

Today when we went to the museum.  There it was interesting to find that there was so many things that African Americans had to go through back than when things weren't as equal as today. When me and the rest of the participates of The Civil Rights Trip  we listen to stories about the nonsense blacks went through. Such as one story one African American man was accused of rape when he walked pass and looked at a white woman. The man was locked up and sentenced to death by an electric chair. JUST FOR SUPPOSEDLY LOOKING AT A WHITE WOMAN. It just makes me angry that my people were treated like that and sent to jail for the simplest situations that wasn't a crime to begin with. It will always be a mystery to me  how African American men, and woman kept their peace and grace , regardless of the hatred and foulness that was apart of their daily lives .
